I wish people would stop reporting that different foods are either bad for you or good for you. They can never seem to settle on one. A certain food may be good for you today, and then someone releases new ‘research’ indicating that it is now bad for you. Lucky and I were talking briefly about this last night when we saw this on TV: Drink milk, keep colorectal cancer at bay. Now obviously it wasn’t this news agency that we saw on TV, but it is the same news.
This was an interesting read: Letter of Reprimand. I don’t remember what the overall outcome was and this letter doesn’t say, but it was still a good read.

This is way too cool. If they can pull this off, the cost of moving a payload into orbit would drop significantly. They estimate somewhere around $1/ton/mile.
Robert Jordan has announced that he will finish the remaining two main sequence novels before returning to his work on the prequels. I’m so happy! I don’t know if this will affect the anticipated release date of ‘late 2005′, but it would be nice if it did.
